29 Sep Flow-State
Flow-State is a site-specific immersive installation designed as part of Immerse ADL. It uses high resolution video and mathematically generated visual content to amplify and reinforce the twin themes of water and space in a way that takes one of the otherwise transitory spaces into a themed immersive experience.
In positive psychology a flow state, as named in 1975 by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, is the state of full immersion and a feeling of energised focus in a positive way. The essential characteristic being complete absorption and a resulting transformation in one’s sense of time.
